On 27th April 2008, htg High Tech Gerätebau GmbH celebrated its 20th anniversary.

htg offers young people a professional future in order to stop the shortage of skilled workers. We currently employ four apprentices, who are being trained as precision mechanics and system technicians.

The machine equipment is extended by a high-performance, double-column vertical machining center Mazak FJV 60 and the Mazatrol PC-Fusion-CNC 640M control unit. The maximum x-axis travel of 2000mm and y-axis travel of 1400mm has the advantage that big plates can be processed with only one mounting procedure.

With the integration of the site at Grünwalder Weg, Oberhaching we increased our production facility by 2000 qm.

Extension of the CAD system, apart from I-DEAS, now Solid Works is also available to meet specific customer requirements.

Change of managing director:
Since January 2007, Erich Fitz, the founder of the company, now shares manage- ment of htg High Tech Gerätebau GmbH with his son, Andreas Fitz. htg is a subsi- diary of Panther GmbH, international producer and supplier of the film industry. With Andy Fitz a new generation has the leadership.
